Helping Design Environments on One of Netflix’s Biggest Shows

We joined Avatar to help launch the virtual art department and lead environment design, translating concept art into real-time 3D spaces with lighting, cameras, and layout for shoot planning.

After building a proof-of-concept, we onboarded the key creatives into a virtual location scouting process, allowing them to explore sets in real time and collaborate on the scenes they were creating.

We assembled a team and worked closely with the director, production designer, and VFX supervisor. Our scope blended art direction, environment design, and visualization. We also delivered approved cameras that guided VFX vendors on exactly what to build.
