Skeleton Crew
Bridging Art, Tech, and Seven Seasons of Virtual Art Department Worlds with Star Wars
Skeleton Crew was our seventh project with Lucasfilm, and the final episodic we supported. We continued leading the virtual art departments environment design while helping bridge real-time and traditional VFX workflows.
We introduced new creatives to the virtual production process, led remote location scouts, and delivered assets to both Unreal Engine and Helios Engine pipelines. This season built on the shared asset library developed over previous productions, a library enriched by art departments, VFX studios, and the Virtual Art Department we helped shape.
We also supported ILM by setting up servers and leading the technical and creative infrastructure, laying the foundation for future teams and productions to adopt and build on this pipeline.
