ART DIRECTOR | CG GENERALIST | CINEMATOGRAPHER

I come from environment art, character sculpting, and matte painting work in VFX, so making things feel realistic and cinematic has always been home. I spent a decade in traditional VFX (Marvel, Lucasfilm, WB), and the past decade inside Unreal Engine helping directors, PDs, and DPs design worlds, plan shots, and translate story into scenes that guide production.

When I build a shot, I start with the story beats and mood, then block things out digitally right away - quick world, lighting, cameras, and a temp character so filmmakers can react right away. My background in art direction, CG, and lighting helps me focus effort where it matters and keep things clear without wasting time.

People usually come to me for worldbuilding, fast visual storyboards, leading a VFX or VAD team, or hitting a high-quality bar. I help plan the shot, execute it, and push it until it lands - bringing a calm energy and visuals teams can trust.
