I’m Safari. I grew up in North Carolina and found filmmaking through VFX lighting and matte-painting — the foundation that still shapes how I approach images today. Over the last 17 years, I’ve worked across VFX, art departments, visualization, and virtual production, helping directors, production designers, and producers turn ideas into story-driven worlds.

I’ve contributed to shows like The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, usually blending art direction, look-development, and environment design while bridging art, production, and tech. I stay hands-on in Unreal Engine, shaping mood, building scenes, and exploring tools that help us iterate quickly without losing the human touch.
