Ahsoka

Pushing Virtual Art Departments Further: Building dozens of photo-realistic environments, in pre-production

Ahsoka marked my sixth project with Lucasfilm, and a new level of trust. We were tasked with delivering some previs, some final-quality environments in Unreal Engine for In-Camera VFX shoots, while also supporting Helios and traditional VFX pipelines.

I onboarded new directors of photography, led virtual location scouts, and refined the creative workflow.

Most assets required minimal adjustment before hitting the stage, a testament to how far we’d pushed real-time production in pre-production.
